Kayla Peterson was a radiant soul who dedicated her life to kindness, compassion, and helping others. Born on November 22, 1989, she was lovingly adopted by Doreen Peterson, who gave her a life filled with adventure, love, and the beauty of the world. Together, they traveled far and wide, creating cherished memories that reflected the boundless love between them.
Kayla graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a testament to her deep desire to understand and support those in need. She was a beacon of light in her community, tirelessly working to feed the homeless, offering a helping hand to anyone struggling, and lifting spirits with her beautiful voice in the church choir.

Her love extended beyond people—she had a profound connection with animals, especially cats, and found endless wonder in the universe, stars, and planets. She believed in the magic of the cosmos and carried that same sense of wonder in her heart.
Though Kayla’s time on earth was far too short, her legacy of love and kindness endures. She lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her and through Kayla’s Heart Foundation Inc, which continues her mission of compassion and service. Her beautiful heart, filled with love and light, will never be forgotten.
